MSIG Thailand signs academic cooperation agreement with Thammasat University

Mr. Rattapol Gitisakchaiyakil, Chief Executive Officer of MSIG Insurance Thailand PCL and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supachet Chirakijja, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, participated in the signing ceremony of the memorandum of academic cooperation between the two parties. Faculty members from Thammasat University and  Dr. Somkiat  Sakulsuraekkapong, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Customer Experience of MSIG were also present as witnesses of the signing ceremony.

The purpose of this signing is to develop and promote advancements in science and technology related to the insurance business, data science, and analytics, as well as to create innovation in areas such as actuarial mathematics, big data platforms, image processing, and blockchain. Additionally, the agreement aims to foster relationships, support research, develop personnel, enhance the capabilities of students for readiness in the workplace, as well as to utilize the expertise of staff from both parties to collaborate in intellectual property development. Furthermore, there is an objective to advance academic cooperation to further promote the development of the insurance industry.
