Business Development (Marketing)

Key roles imageIn the Business Development team, you will plan and implement marketing strategies, market research, product development as well as oversee all distribution channels.

Underwriting

Key roles imageAs an underwriting professional, you will set underwriting policy for the Fire and Accident business, review the company’s business performance in order to adjust underwriting policies, and work closely with risk management, marketing and claims management to make decisions that are directly linked to MSIG’s overall profitability. In the course of your work, you will learn to conduct business portfolio analyses and risk referrals.

Claims

Key roles imageAs part of the claims team, you will gain experience in managing and adjusting claims, ranging from small personal claims to large commercial claims, and participate in claims investigations.

Job responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers to provide information for enquiries about products and services.
  • Able to handle and resolve complaints as needed.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years customer services experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point

Risk Engineer
Job responsibilities:
  • Examines the risks that may arise.
  • Work with Risk Management Department to provide information to Underwriters or Claims Department for policy approval or payment forecast of loss or damages.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 - 5 years relevant work experience, preferably with knowledge of Safety and/or Fire protection design
  • Able to communicate in English at intermediate level
  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Car owner preferred but not mandatory
