Telemedicine Service via MorDee Application with MSIG

 

MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PCL. in cooperation with Chiwiborirak Company Ltd, the operator of Chiwiborirak Clinical Services, and True Digital Group Company Ltd via MorDee application is pleased to offer a service of Telemedicine for our Overseas Travel Accident Insurance customers who wish to seek medical consultation via Telemedicine while travelling overseas with no additional charges for the service (as per conditions specified by the Company).

Get Ready before Using the Service
  1. Before your trip, you must first download MorDee application, register as a member and login, then select “MSIG” to activate your insurance before your departure. To use the service, you can choose to book an appointment with a doctor and select MSIG Privileges and Discount. The Company will be responsible for the fees of services you are entitled to. This service does not support in case of sickness that requires emergency medical treatment.
  2. If you are unable to access or have problems using the MorDee application, please contact MorDee Customer Service at Line ID @mordeeapp
Service Procedure

Conditions of Service
  1. Available for customers who purchase Travel Easy Worldwide Travel Insurance Policy (only for Plans Easy 1, Easy 2, Easy 3) 1 time for Single Trip Policy and 2 times for Annual Policy and for Overseas Student Travel Insurance Policy (only for Plan Student 1) 1 time per Policy without additional charges.
  2. This service can be used when the Insured is travelling overseas and during the period of the insurance policy only.
  3. The service cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed as cash or any other benefits.
  4. Each of the medical consultation via VDO call is available for 15-minute time and MorDee will send a medical report to the Insured at the email previously registered.
  5. This service does not include the purchase and delivery of medicines via MorDee application but the Insured can take the prescription received from the Telemedicine via MorDee to purchase medicines while overseas for generic drugs or drugs with the same properties in quantity and doses as per the prescription or medical report on actual cost but not exceeding Baht 5,000 per trip providing the receipt must contain details on name of drugs, quantity and doses for the consideration of claim compensation. The Company reserves the right to consider claim compensation under the Insuring Agreement of Medical Expense excluding drugs for treatment of any pre-existing conditions.
  6. Chiwiborirak Co., Ltd. (“Chiwi”) and MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PCL. (“MSIG”) reserve the right to amend or change the terms and conditions. If any changes are made, will provide notification via Chiwi's and/or MSIG’s channels. In the case of any dispute, The decision of Chiwi and MSIG is deemed final.
  7. Chiwiborirak Company Ltd, the operator of Chiwiborirak Clinical Services, and True Digital Group Company Ltd. are independent corporations and not part of MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PLC. MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PLC. is not related to Chiwiborirak or True Digital Group in shareholding and its management is not in anyway involved in the business operation of Chiwiborirak or True Digital Group.
  8. This service is not emergency assistance service. If your conditions require emergency medical treatment, please contact +66 (0)2 039 5704 Overseas Emergency Assistance for arrangement of medical treatment at a hospital.
