To facilitate a smooth and equitable claims resolution process including coordinating with various agencies, both inside and outside the organization. The types of claims include motor, property, marine cargo, accident and health, etc.
What are accountabilities of this role?
- Develop a claims handling process in accordance with policy coverage limits and industry standard practices.
- Conduct comprehensive investigations to gather all necessary facts and evidence.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suveyor to collect all evidences.
- Evaluate claims objectively to ensure fair and just settlement amounts.
- Liaise with external partners e.g. repair garage, hospital, and other insurers to provide standard claims services.
- Utilize a claims management system to track and manage claims processes to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed during the entire process.
- Adopt best practices and aim for a fair resolution in claims handling to enhance customer satisfaction for all involved parties.
- Serve as consulting experts to clients by incorporating risk prevention measures to enhance the claims services.
