- The market price of the vehicle must not be less than the sum insured.
- The vehicle must be properly inspected before insurance coverage is provided (the Company reserves the right to re-consider insurance coverage if any damage is found on the vehicle before insurance is issued).
- No depreciation will be applied to the cost of replacing fluids (e.g., engine oil, lubricants, and air conditioning coolant) if damaged in a collision with a land vehicle as per MSIG's Conditions.

Yes, however, any damage that occurred before applying for the Motor Insurance will not be covered. There will be a pre-insurance car inspection process, and all previous damage will be recorded in the system. If there is a claim or damage from the previous period of insurance and the repair has been completed, it is necessary to inform the insurance company to schedule an appointment for another car inspection; and such damage/repair will be noted and the system updated accordingly.
A deductible refers to the initial amount of damage that the insured must absorb themselves as specified in the Motor insurance policy. Example 1: The policy specifies a deductible of 2,000 baht, and the total damage amounts to 5,000 baht. In this case, the insured must pay the first 2,000 baht, and the insurance company will cover the remaining 3,000 baht. Example 2: The policy specifies a deductible of 2,000 baht, and the total damage amounts to 2,000 baht. In this case, the insured must absorb the full amount of 2,000 baht themselves.
The normal time period for considering claims when MSIG receives all the necessary complete documents is usually within 15 days. Claim payments will usually be made within 15 days from the date the claimant has agreed to the amount of compensation. the insured can track the claim status directly via MSIG Claim Tracking 24/7.
