
Telemedicine Service via MorDee Application with MSIG
MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PCL. in cooperation with Chiwiborirak Company Ltd, the operator of Chiwiborirak Clinical Services, and True Digital Group Company Ltd via MorDee application is pleased to offer a service of Telemedicine for our Overseas Travel Accident Insurance customers who wish to seek medical consultation via Telemedicine while travelling overseas with no additional charges for the service (as per conditions specified by the Company).

* starting from 1 july 2025 (Mental health consultations)
- Before your trip, you must first download MorDee application, register as a member and login, then select “MSIG” to activate your insurance before your departure. To use the service, you can choose to book an appointment with a doctor and select MSIG Privileges and Discount. The Company will be responsible for the fees of services you are entitled to. This service does not support in case of sickness that requires emergency medical treatment.

Mental health consultations (For customers who have purchased the Overseas Student travel insurance plan only)
Steps to get Benefit
- Connect your MSIG insurance benefits on the MorDee application according to the specified steps each time you want to use it (see the steps for connecting)
- Contact MorDee Customer Service via Line @mordeeapp to obtain a code for a mental health consultation appointment. Please provide your insurance policy number to enable the officer to verify your eligibility.
- Upon confirmation of your eligibility, the officer will provide you with a code for a mental health consultation appointment. Please note that each code is valid for a single use only.
The steps for scheduling a doctor's appointment
- Open MorDee Application
- Search for a mental health doctor by entering the term 'Mental Health.'
- Select the doctor you wish to consult.
- Schedule the date, time, and consultation method, including providing symptoms and basic related information.
- Make the payment by entering the received code into the discount coupon field and then click "Apply Coupon."
- Appointment booking is successful.
- Consult with the doctor via the MorDee application at the appointment time. The consultation period is 25 minutes.
- View the treatment summary in the 'My Activities' menu.
- This telemedicine consultation service via MorDee application is a service for insured persons under the Travel Easy insurance plan (Only Easy 1, Easy 2, Easy 3 plans) or the Travel Easy Plus insurance plan (All plans) or the Overseas Student travel insurance plan (All plans) without any service fee.
- Insured persons under the Travel Easy insurance plan (Only Easy 1, Easy 2, Easy 3) or the Travel Easy Plus insurance plan (all plans) will be entitled to consult a general health doctor (excluding mental health) 1 time for single trips and 2 times for annual trips.
- Insured persons under the Overseas Student insurance plan (all plans) will be entitled to consult a general health doctor (excluding mental health) 2 times and consult a mental health doctor 2 times throughout the insurance period.
- This service can be used when the Insured is travelling overseas and during the period of the insurance policy only.
- The service cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed as cash or any other benefits.
- The duration of telemedicine consultation is as follows:
• 15 minutes per session via video call for general health consultations (excluding mental health)
• 25 minutes per session via phone or video call for mental health consultations - This service does not include the purchase and delivery of medicines via the MorDee application. However, the Insured can use the list of medicines recommended by the telemedicine consultation via the MorDee application to purchase medicines with generic name or similar properties while abroad, in the amount and size that match the medicine recommendation from the doctor or medical report only. The insured is entitled to receive compensation for the actual medicines paid but not exceeding Baht 5,000 per trip. The medicine receipt must show the details of the medicine name, amount, and size for the consideration of claim compensation.
The Company reserves the right to consider the claim compensation under the medical expenses coverage agreement, excluding medicine for treatment of any pre-existing conditions and medicines recommended by mental health consultations.
- Chiwiborirak Co., Ltd. (“Chiwi”) and MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PCL. (“MSIG”) reserve the right to amend or change the terms and conditions. If any changes are made, will provide notification via Chiwi's and/or MSIG’s channels. In the case of any dispute, The decision of Chiwi and MSIG is deemed final.
- Chiwiborirak Company Ltd, the operator of Chiwiborirak Clinical Services, and True Digital Group Company Ltd. are independent corporations and not part of MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PLC. MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PLC. is not related to Chiwiborirak or True Digital Group in shareholding and its management is not in anyway involved in the business operation of Chiwiborirak or True Digital Group.
